When did you start playing guitar? I started 1967, but in 1970 I heard Jimi ´the first time shortly after he passed away. He really blow me away, from that day I it was the electric guitar for me. Before that I don't think that I played anything in particular, it was just meaningless chords to me. Were there bands playing in your town that you could go and see live? Yes there were a few, one was really good don't remember the name of the band. But Micke "Nord" was the star of that band. Were your parents musical at all? Well, my mother was playing classical piano but my father he didn't know one thing about music, he was absolutely so uninterested one could ever be. When did you buy your first electric guitar? I started off with the acoustic around -67, but I don't consider that being guitar playing. So I say  -70/71 Were you involved in any serious music before the CC Knights? Yes, me and three friends started a band called: Crying Blue Rain (CBR) in the early 90- ties, we toured Sweden and Norway for almost three years I believe Did you begin singing around the same time you started playing? Oh no! I didn't start singing until this band was formed in -99, before that only some occasional song now and then. What specifically do you do with your left hand? Not much, I'm really poor with the coordination,  you know my left hand don't really know what the right one do and wise versa. Are you still using the Strat on the cover of the Kickin' back album? Yes, but not in the way it was at that time. It's really good thing about Fender, you can change necks and just about anything in between the guitars, so I'm constantly elaborating with the parts. Do you use the vibrato arm on the Stratocaster? Yes, all the time. It's a part of my playing technique, but on my Les Paul I don't miss it, I play LP's in a slightly different way, I believe. What type of wah-wah do you use? I  have used Cry baby's for a number of years, but I have got to the point where I'm about to try some other brands. What kind of picks and strings do you use? Picks are always Dunlop big & stubby 3,0mm, strings are Daddario XL115 ( ,11-,49) and Fender Nickel wound ,11-,50) What is your amp setup? It differs, for now my favorite amp is Marshall Vintage Modern 50w and 4x12" with Celestion Vintage speakers. Is this the same equipment you use for recording? Basically yes, but some time I use some of my other amps Marshall 4140 2x12" or Fender Vibrolux custom 2x10" or Crate Vintage Classic 3x10". Do you feel more comfortable playing in a live situation as opposed to the studio? Absolutely, I really don't like to do solos in the studio. The other guitar parts no problem, but the solos.... I don't ever get satisfied, it could take like forever before I'm done Are your solos on record improvised first takes, or are they conceived beforehand? I might have an idea, but that's it, it's all improvised. You really play a lot of blues licks in your solos? What scales do you work from? I'm quite stupid when it comes to theory, I really can't say I just play. You don't play a lot of acoustic guitar?  No. I would like to play old time bottleneck blues, but it's not my instrument. Since you've used both Fender and Gibson guitars, do you have any preference for one over the other? Basically I don't play anything other than Strats, if you see my play something else it a rare occasion. Is there any reason why you don't often work with other guitarists? I've always been the only guitarist  in the bands I've played in and that has affected my playing, so I don't like that situation at all. Are there guitar players you listen to? Oh yes. I just love Robin Trower,  and off course  Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert King , well there are lots more but these are the essential.  You've been playing for four decades now. what's the next plan? We have at this point at least twenty-five unrecorded songs to put our teeth into. So I know what to do next.
