What gear do you use? Nowadays i play on a Mapex Pro M-Rock, Cherry fade. The sizes are 24", 13", !6" and 18". The snare is a Black Panther Bronze hammered  5, 5*14". I am begining to fall in love with the snare nowadays but it has taken some time! Why is that? Well, i have not been able to tune it to get the sound i really like but i am getting closer... Is there anything else you like us to know about your set? I think there is 6 or 7 layers of maple on the shells. It has a really warm deep sound. You can tune really loose and get that deep boom sound or you can go jazz on them and still not loose any sound at all. What heads do you use? I go with Remo emperor on top and ambassador on the bottoms. It gives you that warm vintage sound that i really love. Ok, sounds nice! Cymbals? I use Ziidijan. Avedis 19 and 20" crashes and a big ass 24" ride that I completely love! I have a 14" K hi hat. If we move on now...Influences? When I was younger it was all those heavy metal bands, Maiden, Judas Priest and the rest. I still love Nico McBrain´s playing! Then i moved to more blues oriented music and listen a lot to led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and so on. And nowadays there is a lot of jazz, Buddy rich, Gene Krupa, well the list goes on! It is obvious by my list above that i like drummers with soul rather than speed, nothing wrong with speed though, if you use it wisely! Or maybe I´m just pissed that I can´t play that fast! How did you end up with these guys? I have known Pelle forever it seems. I started my band career with him back in-86. We use to play in the basement of the guitar player. His grandfather was a very patient old man!I did that for a couple of years and then we kind of parted ways i think. The both of us played with others but we ran into each others every now and then. Back in-95 i think, i got a call from Classe. He wanted to put a blues band together. We did a couple of shows and then the bass player left the band. In -97 Pelle came back from London and Classe gave him a call and there we are now. We have come a long way from then and we have developed our own sound I think. What happens next for CC Knights? Well, we are about to start record a record this fall, and then we will hit the road. That´s really what we do best- meeting people and playing live!
