His first ever band was called HEAVY VERKSTAD (Heavy Workshop) with Christer Pettersson (Git) and Kent Gustavsson (Drums), - I'm not really sure what kind of horrible music we played and I don't think I ever cared,- Hey, I was in a band!HEAVY VERKSTAD played a few school dances but soon broke up due to the fact that they didn't own any instruments. The next band PG joined was BONEHEAD, Peter Asp (Git), Mattias Andersson (Git), Mats Larspers (Vocals) and Pelle Fyrby (Drums). BONEHEAD was heavily influenced by BLACK SABBATH and 70's hard rock.Shortly after they had a number one on the local radio station with the epic "Diary" PG left the band to form TRIGGERTRIGGER, was a band he formed with his best friend Johan Rombin (Git;Vocals) and was more a sleazier side of rock, influenced by bands like VAN HALEN and AEROSMITH.TRIGGER was put on ice in the early 90's when the members found them self to far away geographically but PG and JR has crossed musical paths a few times since. This band had a few member changes over the years but the core was PG, J R andP-H Karlsson (Drums). Those were the bands that got PG started and he has never looked back since. In the following years after TRIGGER there were a few bands worth some extra attention: HANDSOME STRANGERS, BILLION DOLLAR BAND, BRAVADO, JEREMY (UK), SCULLYS WONDERBRA (UK), IMPACT MACHINE and TRASHCAN.In 1997 PG moved to London for a year to study music at LMS (London Music School). At one occasion they had a guest tutor, the famous Bernard Purdie, who at his lecture told them that if you were older than 30 you are out of the pop industry for good, and the only ones that are going to call you are the blues guys.- I had been back in Sweden maybe a month or so when Classe Carlson called me and asked if I wanted to join his new…. blues band!!!- And I've been a blues rocker by CC's side since that day.In joining CC he also met up with an old playing buddy, no one less than Pelle Fyrby, the drummer from his early days in BONEHEAD.Now together again in CC KNIGHTS they form one of the most powerful rhythm sections you can see. Here's a list of some other excellent musicians PG played with at some point in his career.PH Karlsson (Josh's Lemon tree), Lars Sköld (Tiamat), Ulrich Carlsson (Million), Ulf Åhman (Åhman band), Petra Kvännå (Sky High), Magnus Åkerlund (Blender), Mats Östensson (Sky High), Eric Mårtensson (Eclipse)Born:Mora 1968Favourite beer:Fullers London PrideFavourite whiskey:Glengoyne 17 yoFavourite drink:Rusty NailDream ride:Mini Cooper, at least it used to be, I have one now so I have to dream up something new. Most memorable concert:Ozzy, a secret show at the Marquee club in London 1991
